See why Bradford says…”After more than 30 years of evaluating money-making, business opportunities I can honestly say, all things considered, I have never seen a better home-based or Internet-based business opportunity than selling products on Amazon. Nothing compares to it.”
After searching quite a while for a way to replace my income and not really like too much of what I saw, I came across this book.
I hadn’t previously considered Amazon as much of an option. I am an Australian, and Amazon’s services to Australia are pretty limited. I had never bought much more than books and e-books since I started using Amazon some time around 1998, so while I vaguely knew of the range of products offered by Amazon, I had never really dug deep enough to break the surface.
This book really made me take a long hard look at Amazon as a potentially very profitable enterprise.
For a beginner like me, the book was perfect. Bradford uses broad brush strokes, with finer details as required, to paint a portrait of a cash cow.
Additionally Amazon itself seems to be an ethically robust organisation. Of course they are in it for the money as well but they seem to take a great amount of pride in being able to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Rather than having the customer as an almost invisible entity that doesn’t really exist other than to keep the wheels turning, Amazon places the customer at the top of the pyramid and understands that without the customer there wouldn’t be a business. A simple enough idea, but as a major corporation Amazon seem to understand that better than most.
I’d recommend this book to people who are looking for change in their lives. People who want to work for themselves and not for a boss anymore. This book has helped to push forward on where I want to be. I was looking at platforms such as Shopify (which is a great concept I might add) but unfortunately I hit some issues (not with Shopify) but the process of launching. This has helped me now to pick up the pieces and move forward with knowing I will succeed now!
